THE HISTORY
Transport since 1960,
the year in which Andrea Tonoli,
by means of his own motor vehicle,
started the activity of distributing
goods locally.
With the entrance of his sons,
Mauro and Ennio at the end
of the 70’s, the one-man business
transformed into a General
Partnership and the company started
to grow and branch out into new
national and international markets.
Thanks to the day to day experience
matured in the field and to the logistically
optimal geographic location,
the company always gathers more
and more transport requests
to and from the Spanish market;
and so started to invest in new
vehicles to widen its fleet and to be
able to manage the greatest number
of customers and to repay trust.
At the end of the 80’s
the “Tonoli Spedizioni S.r.l.”,
an Italian commercial lifeblood
and forwarding agent in every respect
was established and is regularly
on the register.
Over the years, they were joined
by the Tonoli Iberica Spedizioni
and the Tonoli Portoguesa, necessary
to organise and coordinate the entire
International traffic network
and widespread distribution between
Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The success of this expansion
is without doubt due to the shrewd
choice of the society, in the belief
and promoting the specialization
in traffic with the Iberian peninsula;
a vast territory with peculiar
characteristics.
A land which, other than its beauty
and history making it a tourist
destination, offers an infinity
of commercial opportunities in more
varied sectors.
A market in constant growth,
with an evident unbalance between
demand and offer, goods to be
forwarded and available vehicles
for the various traffic routes.
A market, therefore that needs
to monitor and continuously adapt
in forwarding, based on the flow
of import/export traffic, in the various
commodity sectors.
The company’s investments
have not stopped at structure
creativity and purchasing vehicles,
but have carried on and oriented
to Quality.
Investing in information backing
and in specialized technical staff able
to professionally respond to new
market trends in terms of transport
quality and ability to retrace goods.
All of the Tonoli companies
are certified in accordance
with the requirements of the
international standard ISO 9001,
certificates issued in first edition
in 1998 from SGS.
Constant commitment has born fruit
and we are proud to serve and satisfy
the beauty of 1200 customers that
compose our portfolio, which consist
of companies of primary importance
in their sectors, that range from food
to wines and spirits, clothing to textile
as well as the car, glass, paper
and industrial machinery sectors.
Behind the more than 40.000
forwardings carried out by us each
year, is a homely environment,
a human face, a beating heart dealing
with customers that always find
a professional partner, trustworthy,
competitive, but elastic and flexible
with its own structural and market
requirements.
Always being sensitive to problems
and to market demands in our sector,
at the end of the 90’s Tonoli started
investing in real estate to be able
to store goods, and so offering a solid
and concrete support to customers
that need this type of service other
than the simple forwarding of goods.
There were many varied expansion
developments of the structure
that were finished in 2004 with
10.000 sq m of covered warehouse,
served by 16 flaps and with
20.000 sq m square. |
